Wendell Etherly is a writer, director, and producer whose work explores identity, transformation, resilience, and the emotional complexity of human relationships. Working across film, theater, and television, Etherly creates character-driven stories rooted in connection, consequence, and the search for meaning.

His feature film Market Value screened at multiple film festivals, while his screenplays La Persuasion and No Haven (Sin Refugio) received recognition through Stage 32’s Global Matchmaking Program and the Oaxaca Film Festival. His short script Becoming Robert Virtue won Best Short Script at Indie Short Fest in Los Angeles.

In 2026, his feature film GAIA premiered at the Gasparilla Film Festival, where it received the Audience Award. His latest project, The Quiet Between Us, continues his commitment to emotionally grounded, character-driven storytelling.
